How Much Chia Seeds Per Day?
Here Are Three Approaches To Consider

Now that you know about some of the amazing health benefits of chia seeds, you are probably wondering, "How much chia seeds should I eat per day?" Although there is not a simple, clean-cut answer to that question, there are several approaches you can take.

You may want to start with a small quantity, and then increase that gradually. Alternately, you may instead want to consult a doctor or natural medical practitioner to get their individual recommendation. Or you could jump right in and eat a bunch of chia seeds, and do so again whenever you feel like it.

After I expound upon each of these approaches, you will probably come up with your own preferred approach, based on what you have learned.

The Start Small Approach

The first approach you can have about how much chia seeds per day you should eat, is to start out with a small amount, let's say about a teaspoon per day, for a couple days, and see how your body reacts. Do you feel stronger? Do you have more energy? Or is a teaspoon too much for your body to handle?

Depending on how you answer those questions, you may want to increase your daily consumption to two or three teaspoons of chia seeds, or you may want to stop eating them altogether. Now, if you are dealing with medical issues, there is another approach you may want to take instead.

The Consult A Doctor Approach

Another way you can determine how much chia seeds per day you should consume is to consult with a doctor or medical practitioner. They may ask you questions about your health, and based on your responses, they could recommend a certain dosage of chia seeds that would be safe for your body.

The only down side of this approach is that most doctors probably won't like giving a recommended dosage, for fear of being sued for giving wrong instructions. So if you decide to go with this approach, you will probably have to find a holistic doctor or someone who has lots of experience using non-conventional medicine.

Just remember, even if someone else recommends a certain quantity, you are still responsible for your own health!

The Jump Right In Approach

If you're too impatient to start slowly, and you have no medical issues you are dealing with, then the Jump Right In approach may sound appealing to you. As the name suggests, you simply consume a bunch of chia seeds right away, maybe around a tablespoon or two in one day, and then take more whenever you feel like it.

Instead of making it a daily regimen, you may consume them only on days that you do a lot of exercise, or whenever you need a pick-me-up, or on days that you haven't been eating very healthily. Most people should be fine with this approach, but it's still your decision to make.

As you can see, there's not just one cut-and-dry answer to "How much chia seeds should I eat per day?" You could start with a small quantity and build up, or you could consult a doctor, or just jump right in and consume a tablespoon or two on an as-needed basis. Your own approach may be one of these listed in this article, or you may create your own preferred approach based on what you have learned here.

Now that you know about these three different approaches, I'm going to turn the question back to you, since you are responsible for your own actions: "How much chia seeds per day should you eat?"
